In Boom Beach, Artillery and Barrages are often used together to damage or destroy key buildings in an attack. This calculator makes it easy to quickly determine the most efficient combination of Artillery and Barrages to fire.

If you need to do a certain amount of damage, this tool will tell you which possible combination of shots that deals that much damage or more costs the least Gunboat Energy. Alternatively, if you have a certain amount of Energy to use, this tool will tell you which combination, that costs no more than the amount of Energy specified, deals the most damage.

Usage Notes

  • Since the Barrage’s rockets are spread out over a rather wide area, the number of rockets that you intend to have hit your target can be changed on this tool using the “Barrage Effectiveness” input. Generally, 14 out of 15 rockets will hit a building that is 3 by 3 tiles or 4 by 4 tiles in size and all 15 rockets will generally hit a building any larger if the Barrage is aimed at its center.
